urban Decay naked Skin Weightless complete coverage Concealers from the left in medium Light Neutral, medium Neutral and medium Dark Warm
So, one day last weekend when I wore urban Decay’s new naked Skin Weightless complete coverage Concealer ($28, coming this spring to the permanent line), I got into a big tiff with my parents, and there was lots of crying involved.
(Long story, but it was a misunderstanding, and everything’s fine now.)

When El Hub and I got home later that night, I went to wash my face and saw that the concealer I’d been wearing was still intact…10 hours later!
Granted, it didn’t look perfect, especially around my fine lines, but considering the buckets I’d cried a few hours earlier, it looked pretty good.

And for comparison, here’s my current concealer combo crush: NARS Pure Radiant with YSL Touche Éclat and MAC Mineralize Skinfinish Powder…
Wearing my current concealer combo: NARS Pure Radiant, YSL Touche Eclat and MAC Mineralize Skinfinish Powder (it takes a village!)
With concealers, I typically objective for something full coverage with a lightweight feel and a natural texture, and that’s exactly what I get from a few tiny drops of this creamy concealer.
I use just 3-4 small dots under each eye, then buff that out with a tapered blending brush. That completely covers the purple areas around my inner corners, sans the heavy texture that typically accompanies full-coverage concealers, while keeping my skin looking like skin.

Yeah, I’m really digging this stuff! It produces similar results to my current favorite concealer, which is actually a combo of NARS Pure Radiant Concealer mixed with YSL Touche Éclat, all topped with MAC Mineralize Skinfinish Powder.
Urban Decay naked Skin Weightless complete coverage Concealer
Bound for the permanent line, and arriving with the new urban Decay spring 2015 Collection in eight $28 shades (0.16-oz. tubes) — fair Neutral, Light Warm, Light Neutral, medium Light Neutral, medium Neutral, medium Dark Warm, medium Dark Neutral and Dark Neutral.
The creamy, full-coverage formula has a satin finish that isn’t too shiny, and I think it looks stunning in pics.
The flocked applicator feels so soft and comfy…
On my combination dry/oily skin, I notice that these tend to oxidize and darken a bit after a few minutes, so you may want to use a slightly lighter shade than you otherwise would (especially if other makeup tends to oxidize on you).
PRICE: $28 for a 0.16-oz. tube
AVAILABILITY: Coming to the urban Decay permanent line this spring
MAKEUP and charm blog RATING: B+/A- (sure wish they didn’t darken on my skin)
